Paramount Publix appeared alongside of such sterling companies as United States Steel, American Can Co., American Telephone and Telegraph Co.—the-only motion picture company carried in the list. Trade journals editorially paid tribute to Paramount, stating that the motion picture industry was safe as long as Paramount showed such consistent profits year in and year out. Certainly, as far as the industry itself is concerned, Paramount stands for Prosperity.
