INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF TABLES
THE "Evening at Home with the Listener In" table is not difficult to understand and use. It is this fact that makes it so popular with the readers of Radio Digest. It is presented here in three different standard times: Eastern, Central and Pacific. Listeners using one of the three kinds of time named, should utilize the table printed in that time and so designated by its headline.
For listeners whose standard of time is not shown here, the following instructions should be remembered:
Listeners using Mountain time: Use table for Pacific time but add one hour to every figure given. Can also use Central time table by subtracting one hour from every figure given.
Listeners using Eastern daylight saving, or Atlantic time: Use Eastern time table by adding one hour to every figure given.
Listeners using Central daylight saving1 time: Use Eastern time table. Xo changes are necessary.
The periods given in the "Evening at Home" tables are only representative of each station's evening sign-on and signoff hours, and on Sunday, the late afternoon sign-on and sign-off. If a station has an intermittent rather than continuous program, the table cannot show this.
Above is given a list of all stations in the "Evening at Home" tables, arranged in order of the wave lengths used (or supposed to be used) by the stations. This arrangement provides a handy index for the other tables.
The "Evening at Home" tables are corrected every week. The number of changes often run as high as thirty per cent of the whole. Keep the "Evening at Home" tables from the current issue at the side of your receiver.
The material and form of the tables are entirely original with Radio Digest and are protected by copyright. Reproduction of whole or part without permission is denied, and such infringements will be prosecuted.
Hindenburg Election Credit Goes to Radio
Friday, June 12
Broadcast Speeches Made Him Winner, Students Declare
LOXDOX. — Did Radio win the German presidential election for Field Marshal Von Hindenburg? In the excitement of the last few hours before the election, Hindenburg made his last great stump speech from Hanover Radio station. Over 400 miles away in London the British Broadcasting company relayed his speech — the first time a great political speech by a foreign personage has been obtained in this manner.
There are 60,000,000 people in Germany. The Hanover station was audible to the whole country. Germany listened in, and then went off to the polls with the words of the old war leader fresh in its ears. Students of politics believe the history of the world may be marked in the next few years by the effects of that broadcast program from one aerial on a Hanover roof.

XEW YORK. — The Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation is conducting a series of Centennial Elections as a preliminary step in the observance of the 150th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, and the 100th anniversary of the death of its author, July 4th. 1926.
Successful candidates will be members of the Patriotic Pilgrimage to Europe, with all expenses paid, sailing, July 4, 1925, on the S. S. Leviathan and returning July 30th on the S. S. Republic.
Miss Terese Rose Nagel, famous interviewer at Station WGBS, is a candidate, and believing sincerely in this cause, has accepted a nomination and is now working ' votes and raise money for this pur:

UNIQUE STUDIO MAKES HIT WITH RADIOPHANS
Broadcast from Frontenac Brewery Brings Thousands of Letters
MOXTREAL. Can. — The most unique studio in the world today is, beyond doubt, that of the Frontenac breweries of Montreal, which feeds remote control entertainment into super-power Station CKAC, La Presse, here.
In the very center of the big plant's wash room, complete ceiling and studio walls are lowered by a pulley system, whenever a show is to be hurled out of the Canadian 7,500-watter. The floor is covered with a rug, a few kegs of the small variety are rolled into place for sitting purposes, together with a piano, and then the entertainers fall in line.
The microphones are lowered in the same way and all is ready for the opening announcement. Xot far away, some fifty yards or so, the amplifiers are stored in a sample room, resembling a Swiss Chaletbar.
Prizes offered by the Frontenac breweries are also of the popular order, so much so, that the managing director, Pierre Beaubien, had to award gold pieces, instead of the usual ten-gallon barrels, in order to favor American contestants and winners.
Virginia Judge with Roxy
NEW YORK. — Judge Clifton A. Woodrum of Roanoke, Virginia, representing the sixth district of Virginia in congress, made his debut as a member of Roxy's gang recently. He sang a number of old southern melodies.
Broadcast from Cathedral
LOX'DOX, Eng. — Permission to broadcast a service on June 5 from Canterbury cathedral, the cathedral presided over by the archbishop of Canterbury, primate of the Church of England, has been granted to the British Broadcasting company.
