On the same evening Art Gillham, dubbed the "Whispering Pianist" by Lambdin Kay, will whisper over the microphone of WOC, Palmer school at Davenport. If Hollywood is within your reach on Sunday night, you will hear the Russian string quartet, or you might venture up to Minneapolis and tune in WAMD for the University of Minnesota night program. Monday will bring musical comedy and light opera night to WTAM and excerpts from famous musical comedies and light operas will be given by selected artists. This promises to be a delightful program, and well worth tuning for. Monday also is the Fourth Anniversary of WBZ, the New England Westinghouse station, and a special program has been arranged. Of interest to opera followers will be Thomas LeRue Husselton's story of the famous opera "Faust," together with an operalogue over station WPG on Tuesday. The comic opera "Robin Hood," by deKoven is KGO's feature on the same night. This musical score will be presented by seven solo singers and an orchestra. Radio comedy lovers will enjoy "Intimate Strangers," a three-act comedy by the KOA players which will be given Wednesday evenings from the microphone of KOA at Denver. Another good feature this evening will be the Cincinnati zither players at Crosley WLW, The home of the . Hired Hand, WBAP, Fort Worth, will entertain listeners on Thursday evening with a series of numbers from the righteously famous Harmony club. To top off the week, the Crescent Park entertainers, alias the "Blacksmith Shop Artists," may be heard over WGR on Friday. Jack Little will sing popular songs.
