HUNDRED MIllUDN A couple of months ago a milestone was passed when McCann-Erickson TV-Radio billing hit a rate of a hundred million dollars annually. A glance at the accompanying charts shows that this covers every radio and TV network, hundreds of local stations — every kind of programming — every type of commercial. Like all agencies, and most people, we like to set ourselves goals. Probably it was one of our goals to be the first to reach the hundred million mark in this field — but right now there's only time to thank the many people responsible for having done it. The networks and stations who have done so much to bring these media to their present high point of effectiveness . . . the producing outlets and the talent agencies who have contributed so much to the quality of our product.
