FUNCTIONS
"To establish a membership organization of persons who by their long years of service in the field of Radio desire to become associated for the purposes of friendship and education. The Club shall be a central clearing house for the exchange of information and historical data about the Radio industry and shall record in form to be determined facts and data obout the history of the Radio industry and its traditions for use by this and future generations. It is felt that this organization with the resultant exchange of information would make a valuable contribution to the public interest."
The purposes as outlined in the constitution are sufficiently broad to enable the Radio Pioneers to undertake almost any task which the Club may desire for the furtherance of ttie Radio Industry.
Accordingly, 1950 will mark the establishment of a Radio Hall of Fame in which the memories of men and women whose contribution have placed them omong the immortals will be perpetuated.
