Thomas FUNCTIONS The major functions of the Radio Executives Club are: (1) to promote and encourage the use of radio broadcasting as an advertising medium; (2) to create a lasting fraternity of persons engaged in the business of radio; (3) to promote a better understanding of radio broadcasting and its attending problems; (4) to maintain a central bureau of employment for members of the club; (5) to provide a common meeting place for all persons engaged in the business of radio. Meetings are held twice monthly from October to May and membership is open to anyone engaged in the business of radio, subject to approval of the membership committee.
