The remarkable efficiency of the new screen-grid valves is further increased when used with Hammarlund No. 222 Coils, specially designed for screengrid circuits covering the broadcast range. A feature of both the antenna coupler and R. F. transformer is the four-tap primary, which allows the greatest amount of coupling consistent with selectivity required. Only two inches in diameter, they may be mounted vertically within shields or other small space.
