The ruler of the oldest Asian monarchy will be welcomeed to the festival by Lt. Governor Walsh, of Alberta, in a scene to be described by Tremaine Garstand, assisted by a CKGW announcer. Sunday. 18 Violins Will Play Concerto's Solo Part Sunday With IX violins playing the solo part of Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto," the Lewissohn Stadium orchestra on Sunday. August 23, at 8 :30 p. m. will begin an unusually varied program. Eight Russian Folk songs by Liadov which conductor Albert Coates brought back from Russia this year will be the second group.
