He is the guest of the Manufacturers' club. If you have not had an oldfashioned sleigh ride this year, you will tune in for CNRO, Ottawa, this same evening and leave for the annual sleigh drive at 8:45 p. m. Eastern time. Stop-overs for old-time square dances will be enjoyed by all. The opera star featured at WEAF this Sunday, is Charles Hackett, tenor. Fans may hear him at 9:15 p. m. Eastern time on the WEAF chain. The assisting artist with the Copley Plaza orchestra at WBZ, Springfield, is Theresa Sprague. A traffic squad recruited by Earle Buell is the new feature at WAMD. No word has been received as to what this squad will do, but it is expected that the air will have no squeals nor howls on Monday evenings at ?:30 p. m. Central time, when this group is on the air. Troy Elks expect to meet in the studio of WHAZ between 8 and 9 p. m. Eastern time, for their regular Elks club frolic, Monday. The Provincetown players are well known in New Tork for their selections of unusual plays of literary value. They will appear before the microphone of WGBS Tuesday night in "The Dream Play" by August Strindberg. A gay program is scheduled for KOIL, Council Bluffs, la., when the Nautical dance orchestra "Seamen without a Ship" embark on the air. From 6:30 p. m. to 1 a. m. Eastern time Wednesday, a gala program will travel etherways from WTIC, Hartford. Among the special features aro the Yale band, the New York Philharmonic ensemble, Arthur Middleton, baritone, arid Jeanne Laval, contralto. For those who prefer lighter music, the midnight frolic presents Sherman and Ryan and three young ladies called the Harmony entertainers. A piano recital of Chopin compositions and a talk "Chopin and His Works" by J. Austin Springer from WGY Thursday, will give Radio fans a better idea of this composer's skill. "Stung" is the amusing title of the dramatic offering of KGO for this same evening. Eight of the famous KGO players will appear before the microphone. The fifteenth great artist organ recital will be given Friday evening from WAHG. William Edward Zeuch is the artist this week. Lincoln programs are popular for this evening. The Department of English at the U. of Pittsburgh will officiate at KDKA with the KDKA Little symphony orchestra playing civil war melodies.
