Built for Western Reception I HIS, the latest Gilfillan Radio Chassis as used in Models 200 and 250, has been especially engineered to take advantage of all that is newest in Radio. Of prime importance is the very efficient use of the latest types of tubes. Five Super-Control ScreenCrid heater type tubes are used in the R. F. Detector and audio stages. Two Pentode power tubes are used in push-pull in the power stages. The maximum in efficiency results. The set is very selective, unusually powerful and at the same time very quiet in operation. Complete with Tubes Equipped with latest design eight-tube Super Heterodyne Chassis with full-vision dial. Matched burled panels of selected patterns are artistically handled, thus bringing out the grain of the wood to the best advantage. This radio cabinet will take its place as a real piece of furniture in the finest of homes. Measurements, 38" high, 25" wide, 14" deep. Equipped with latest typ Super-Heterodyne Chassis in stalled in this very beautifu all-walnut cabinet. Sand blast ing is used to advantage as means of decoration. Measu ments, 38" high, 25" wi 14" deep. The chassis is full-size, ruggedly and powerfully built. It is 17 inches wide, 11 inches deep and 10 inches high. It uses one UY 227 oscillator, four UY 235, super-control screen grids, two UX 247 power pentodes and one UX 280 full wave rectifyer. A full 12 inch Jensen Dynamic speaker gives superb quality on both low and high notes. Extensive mineral deposits in mountain ranges and varying climatic conditions are factors. To properly perform in the West a set must be very selective and still be powerful enough to reach out between strong local stations for distance.
