Atmendariz Tops 'Em Biggest net money maker of the movies Is not a Bing Crosby or Clark Gable of the American screen, but a Mexican star named Petro Armendariz. Armendariz is co-star with Henry Fonda and Dolores Del Rio in THE FUGITIVE. A favorite in Spanish language pictures, Armendariz receives $30,000 for each of eight or ten pictures annually. Out of this he pays five per cent for Mexican taxes, and the same amount to the union.
