Almost before she had time to speculate on what kind of call could be important enough to interrupt this American Jewish Congress panel discussion on "The Extreme Right— Threat to Democracy?". . . the minister returned. Ashen-faced and with a slight quaver in his voice, Rev. Walker told his listeners, "I'm sorry to leave you. My house has been bombed. Thank heavens, my wife and children are all right."... A few days later, the telephone rang in the San Fernando Valley home of actor Robert Ryan, and the maid, Willie Smith, answered it.
