By BUD GOODE The day Pinky Lee's schoolteacher asked her class to discuss the Statue of Liberty, Pinky, as usual, was one of the first to raise his hand. Pinky was always a good student; what he didn't know about the Statue of Liberty wasn't written in his history book. But, when the teacher called on him, the class's laughter was even greater than usual. The kids always laughed at Pinky: First, because of his size — he was tiny for his age; second, because of his lisp — and "Statue of Liberty" was a tongue-twister. But, to ten-year-old Pinky, the kids' laughter was a heart-twister. After class, he disconsolately shuffled down the aisle of desks to his teacher.
