If you think volume 1 was pretty terrific wait until you latch onto this second volume. Volume 1 contained listings for 502 artists whose names began with the letters A and B. Volume two lists some 640 artists and lists only those who fall into the C and D category. We also believe that this is the first discography which lists LP records. Volume two contains great sections on Johnny Dodds, the Cobb boys, dozens of obscure jug bands, the Castle Jazz Band, Benny Carter, Leroy Carr, Hoagy Carmichael, Wild Bill Davison, Dixie Jazz Band, Dixie Daisies, The Dorseys, Bob Crosby, Bing Crosby, Eddie Condon, Blues, Spirituals, Swing Bands, Foreign Jazz, and anything else you could want in the C and D section. // you haven t already ordered Volume 1 we have a good stock of them on hand too.
