CBS Face the Nation (Mon, 10:30-llpm NYT) Howard K. Smith became the moderator, in place of Stuart Novins, effective Nov 1*4 when the program changed to its present time spot (see page 1*43). The Garlund Touch; TITLE CHANGE Nov 11, Friday, 9:30-10pm NYT & LAT. Program was previously named Mr . Garlund (see page 12*0. The Ed Sullivan Show (Sun, 8-9pm NYT & LAT) The "See America with Ed Sullivan" monthly feature has been dropped because of the excessive time required for lo¬ cation work.
