successful. A splendid film was secured, and was shown on

Canadian North-West, will finish its season at His Majesty’s Theatre this Saturday night. Miss Muriel Starr’s performance in the title-réle is on a level with the other fine work she has done during her season in Johannesburg, and she is supported by an excellent cast, including Mr. Harvey Adams as Constable Michael Devlin, Mr. Dick Cruikshanks as Dr. Dan Cusick, Mr. Bernard Merefield as Pierre La Bey, and Mr. Henry Ashford as Hector MacCollins. | Next week, for the company’s farewell week in Johannesburg, ‘‘ A Bill of Divorcement ’’ will be revived on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and ‘‘ Secrets’’ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Miss Starr’s acting as Margaret Fairficld in the former play and as Mary Marlowe in * Secrets ’’ is distinctly something that should not be missed. Mr. Harvey Adams is also excellent in both productions: Miss Christine Jensen is responsible for two remarkably contrastive aunts (a ‘‘ sympathetic ’’ aunt and a very unsympathetic one); and Miss Helen Spencer's Sydney Fairfield is a ‘‘ feature ’’’ of ‘‘ A Bill of Divorcement" (which will again be preceded by Stanley Houghton’s one-act play ‘‘ The Dear Departed ’’).
