Provided that the above undertaking is subject to the following special conditions, which are of the essence of the contract, viz. :— (a) That such death or loss shall result within thirty days after the accident; (b) that the holder shall, prior to the accident, have written his (or her) usual signature in the space provided underneath, and shall have a complete copy of the current issue of the South African Pictorial containing the signed Coupon-Insurance Ticket on his (or her) . person at the time of the accident; (c) that notice in case of injury be given to the African Guarantee and Indemnity Co., Ltd., at its principal office, corner of Market and Simmonds Streets, Johannesburg, within seven days after the accident, and in case of death within fourteen days after accident; and (d) that the insurance applies only to persons over twelve and under seventy years of age; and (e) that the Company’s liability is limited to one Coupon insurance Ticket associated with this or any other publication for any one holder, and™ holds good for seven days from 6 a.m. of the day of issue.
