Jimmy didn't have to go to the Big City to succeed. No. He was born there in the first place — yes, he's that mysterious Native New Yorker you have heard so much about. The boy was really born right C; Eleanor Boardman and ]ames Murray in a dramatic scene. here in lil' old New York, and grew up and went to school here. But Jimmy Murray left the old home' town and got out to seek his fortune. The fact that his home town happened to be New York City, the mecca of most adventurers, had nothing to do with it. New York as a home town is just like any other old home town. Only it's a little big bigger and a little bit harder to "show". Jimmy Murray had to leave it flat to make it appreciate him. Now he has it at his feet, and he has to laugh. 22
