A short while ago this film would have been considered a fantastic Buck Rogers melodramatic thriller, but today it is sound, documentary evidence of the amazing things a jet propelled plane can do. Bogie handles the pivotal role so smoothly and believably you don't realize how much he's actually teaching you about aviation. It's a stirring performance, a great contribution to flying.
