Distributor — Universal. THE OPINION Peppy serial with genuine melodrama and thrtll9. This is one of the best of recent serials. You can make no mistake on it. Fast riding, intrigue, comedy, a bursting dam and the heroine saved by the hero’s lassoe, an exploded oil well, and other thrilling stunts hold the spectator’s interest throughout the first three episodes. THE STORY An attempt to hide the fact that oil has actually been found near the ranch of Nan Madden for the purpose of luring her to dispose of her property to a scheming oil promoter is the basis of the story.
