8 DOUSERS 3, Dousers Open or Close Too Far (a) — The adjustment that controls the travel is not correct. Usually the bumper, or any other device regulating the travel, can be set by the use of a handy adjustment. Test and correct it by moving it in or out until it is in the correct position. 4. Dousers Will Not Stay Open During Running (a) — The spring holding the douser open is defective or weak. Try giving more tension by bending or stretching the spring. If this fails to hold the douser, a new spring will have to be installed.
