Principals: Fredric March, Betty Field, Agnes Moorehead, Skippy Homeier. Director, Leslie Fenton. Plot: A chemistry instructor in a mid-western university makes plans for the arrival of his sister's boy from Germany, who turns out to be a true Nazi with their doctrine of hate and terror. The couple try futilely to humanize him by teaching him love and honor. He eventually attacks his little cousin with a poker. The instructor decides to send him back, but his little victim pleads for him, so he gets another chance. THE BIG SHOWOFF (Rep.) Comedy. Principals: Arthur Lake, Dale Evans, Lionel Stander, George Meeker. Director, Howard Bretherton. Plot: Because he wants to foster a romance between his pianist and the singer at his night club, the owner claims the pianist is really the masked wrestler. This involves the young man in the wrestler's scrapes, but he gets out of all the trouble when arrested and the hoax is revealed. The action does promote the romance, which was the idea in the first place. FAIRY TALE MURDER (Univ.) Mystery. Principals: Gloria Jean, John Qualen, Keefe Brasselle, Bill Goodwin, Sheldon Leonard. Director, Charles David. Plot: A youngster brought up on fairy tales and sheltered from the outside world, suddenly becomes involved in a murder. This happens when a Stradivarius violin from a murdered composer is pawned in her uncle's shop. A group of neighborhood roughnecks, who were permitted the use of musical instruments from the shop, help solve the mystery. CLASSIFIED Ten cents per word (10 words minimum). No cuts or borders.
