Ill., May 8 A severe rain storm | lasting all day made it very disagreeable to all concerned. This did not seem to have any effect on business, as capacity ruled at both the afternoon and evening performances. LaMont Bros. have encountered many difficulties since the opening, such as rains, over flows and bridges being washed away. Despite 1 these obstacles, the show performance, that being the afternoon show at Trenton, UL, May 13. Many people were ! away at the evening performance at this has lost but one stand. iuis outfit started its road ago, consisting at that time of three tive horses and nine people. They now carry twenty-eight wagons, sixty-two head of sage stock, five head of ring stock, and twenty ponies. They have an eighty-foot round top, vith two forty-foot middle pieces, and eight cage menagerie, a side show and a band, consisting of fourteen pieces, The executive staff of the show includes C, kh. and H. C. LaMont, sole owners; C. R. Ran‘olf, superintendent of lots; Abe Aronhart, equestrian director; Fred Waywood and Jesse Rainey, advance, with two assistants; Geo. Stanley (Yorkie) Freed, manager of side show; Lob Williams, director of band; F. Lee Gravies, banner privileges; C. Baker, candy privileges; Ek. W. Lane, superintendent of stock, with twenty-eight assistants; Frank Coy, chief steward, with five assistants; Wm. Martin, properties, with five assistants; Tom Lynch, has charge of the ' Macum has charge of the animals, with four assistants; Leo Barber, wardrobe: Ora Johnson, boss canvasman, with eight assistants. Miss Clara Ruel, menage rider with the SellsFloto Show, and Hugh Milnot, he be dy former with the Norris and Rowe Show, were married last week. The wedding took place at Vennsover, Wash.. and the other members of e¢ show did not learn of the i te ee ee e incident until a Miss Ruel has been with the Sells-Floto Show for the past eight years, while Mr. Milnot, has at times appeared in vaudeville and with by a s oie Company.
