This. one includes four matinees, James Neill will take the role as Bates, the butler of Glenarms House, and Miss Edyte Chapman will take a rest for the first time during the summer season. The leading feminine role will be taken by Miss Ethel Van Waldron, taking the part of Marion Devereaux, The Man On the Box, given by the James Neill Company last summer at the Grand will be offered at the Metropolitan next week. Mr. Neill has been very successful with this play in stock. Following The Man On the Box will appear David Belasco’s The Warrens of Vir xinia, which has been but lately released for the use of stock companies, and has never been heretofore acted by any cOmpany on a St. Paul stage.

Fred W. Jenks, manager of the Elgin Opera House, Elgin, DL, has disposed of his interests in the Star Theatre, Temple Theatre and moving picture show at the Elgin Opera House to his former partners, Messrs, Prickett and Thielen. The Temple has been closed temporarily until Aug. 15.
The Colonial Amusement Company closed the Academy of Music, Charleston, 8. C., Saturday, July 3 The summer season of vaudeville has proven successful, and the company plans to reopen in the fall. The company has given out that they will probably own their theatre when they reopen.
+ Mr. Maurice W. Jencks, the efficient manager of the New Theatre, Sioux Falls, 8. D., and the Grand Theatre, Sioux City, and several other theatres in South Dakota and Iowa recently returned from an extended trip in the East, and reports some good bookings for all of his theatres. j v The Majestic Theatre, Sioux Falls, S. PD., under the management of W. H.
