June 5.—Bloomington is the stand for this week for Billie Clark's Broadway Shows, and with favorable weather the remainder of the week a successful engagement is assured. Billie Clark's Broadway Shows have been battling with the elements since opening and old Jupiter Pluv. held the upper hand. Phe work is so good that it is rather difficult to say which show has the most r splende ut front when the lights are turned on at nicht. Among the pretty fronts are the Bathing Girl Review, the Minstrel Show, the Wild West and the Athletic Show. The new lot superintendent, R. Conmters, *‘stole the march’’ on the showfolks recently going to Bloomfield, Ind., and returning a benedict. The shows take on two more box ears and two flat cars at Bloomington, they having been purchased by Billie Clark. and he is thinking of adding one more f! at car and a Pullman, which will make a thirty-car show. The new electrician, P. I’al me r, is a sure enough hustler. He has everything—shows, rides and concessions—hooked up all ready at 6:45 p.m. every Monday, and his numerous friends in the circus world will no doubt be giad to learn he is trouping again.
