THE ADULT AND THE CINEMA so why should I. Films have on several occasions appeared in my dreams, not the actors or actresses, it is always people I know and they have been the people in the film but I have acted differently which I think is due to when I see a film the thought is always running through my mind that I wouldn't have said or acted that way, this film was Dark Waters and in my dream I didn't run out to the trouble but just 'phoned the police, it is always dramatic films that I dream about. I have explained how films affect me, my age is 20 years and I am conscripted to a munition factory my nationality is English, my mother is a housewife, my father a night supervisor. 29. Miss . . . I cannot answere (answer) naming the films in question 1 . but quite a few have influenced my clothes but not the others. As for question 2 I can name quite a lot, but first I'd like to explain why I dream about films. Nearly always before going to sleep I tell myself a story made up by myself about school, hospital or a guardian, etc. (sometimes I get so interested I do'nt sleep for ages!) Other times I remodel a film I have like(d) to suit myself and put myself in it. Funnily enough they are nearly always English films I dream about, not because I don't like American ones, but English actors fit in better with me! During the last year I have dreamt about The Man in Grey, Rebecca (I know that's a US one), Headline, Pimpernel Smith, 4.9th Parallel and A Canterbury Tale. Not about all the film just sceans (scenes) from it. 1. I am 21.2. Female. 3. English. 4. Firewoman. 5. Mother Norwegain. 6. Father English. 7. Mother's profession: none. 8. Fathers Mining Engineer. P.S.— I can't spell. 30. Mr. . . . No. 1. The remake of the Constant Nymph, tells you how a young girl in Pigtails falls for an older man than herself, who is a composer. The same thing has happened to me. It was last year when I went to a big job, in the Isle of Man, My Landlady had a beautiful Daughter, who was no more than 16, she was also in pigtails, and she fell head over heels in love with me. I tried to avoid her, but couldn't, until I came across to England again, she still writes to me, I am not a composer, but I am a great lover of music, any kind of music, I sometimes make up little tunes in my head, I think it is a coincidence. Well, to get to the next question. 217
