Photoplay Magazine's Popular Players LEAH BAIRD was born in Chicago in 1887 and made her stage debut in 1907 in "The Mummy and the Humming Bird," and later played in "The Gentleman from Mississippi" company. With both Vitagraph and Universal she has become one of the most popular screen actresses, a tall brunette. She appeared in "Ivanhoe" with King Baggot, and later in "Absinthe." She is married.
