Phyllis Haver Phyllis Haver, not so long ago, was recognized as one of the most beautiful of that world-famous galaxy of California's daughters known as the Mack Sennett Bathing Beauties. When the bathing girl pictures were taboo, the comedy director advanced Miss Haver to the position of ingenue lead with Ben Turpin. She also appeared opposite Buster Keaton. Since then she has appeared in more serious drama and has met with great success. She was born in Douglas, Kansas, January 6, 1899. She is five feet, six inches tall, weighs 126 pounds. Has blonde hair and blue eyes.
