Charles ("Buck") Jones, whose real life story reads like that of a hero in a novel, was born in Vincennes, Indiana, in 1889. He drifted from an autobrumes mobile mechanic to a ranchman, then to the U. S. Cavalry in the Philippines, ("'Buck") anc* to ^e avlation corps. During the World War the Allies enlisted his j services to teach cavalry officers -the art of trick riding. William Fox saw J ones one Q£ tne exhibitions anj offered Jones a chance to act in some Western pictures. He is five feet, eleven and three-quarter inches tall, weighs 173 pounds, has brown hair and grey eyes. He is married and has a daughter.
