Keyes Leatnce Joy Leatrice Joy is one who turned to comedies for her first foothold in pictures. Her stage experience covers a period of only eight months in a stock company in San Diego, California. She is the wife of John Gilbert. Some of the pictures in which she has appeared in the leading roles are, "Java Head," "Manslaughter," "The Ten Commandments," "The Silent Partner" and "Triumph." She was born in New Orleans, in 1897. She is five feet, three inches tall, weighs 125 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. She was educated in the Sacred Heart Academy in New Orleans.
