ROBERT R. SOUDERS RETURNS
Well-Known Talking-Machine Man In New York After Making Splendid Record in England, France and Germany
Among the visitors to The World sanctum last week was Robert R. Souders, the wellknown talking machine manager, who left New York in June, 1918, for service with the Y. M. C. A. forces in the war zones. He spent six months in England and the balance of the time in France and Germany. Since the close of the war he has been in charge of the Rhine River excursion steamers in the capacity of Divisional
Secretary and lecturer. He saw service with the Fighting Third or Marne Division, and of course was quite enthusiastic about the magnificent "win or die" spirit of the boys who were in France. Mr. Souders returned on the transport "Zeppelin" on September 25th, and a few days later left New York to visit his wife and children in Spokane, Wash. After a few days' rest Mr. Souders will journey to the Mexican front on special service for the Y. M. C. A.
The many friends of Mr. Souders will be delighted to know he is feeling in splendid shape and he will doubtless return to the talking machine fold as soon as the needs of his country lessen.
