One of the artists engaged for the Metropolitan Opera Co., which will soon be heard at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, is Titta Ruffo, the famous Italian baritone, whose voice, by the way, has become familiar to users of the records which he has made for the Victor Talking Machine Co., and with whom he is under contract. This baritone ranks as one of the greatest in Europe, and he is destined to create quite a furore on his initial performance in New York.
