These allocations are subject to revision under terms of suggested new TV rules, standards and allocations (VHF-UHF) set forth in FCC’s Notice 51-244 (TV Allocation Report, March 24, 1951) which is basis for hearings scheduled to begin before FCC en banc July 23, 1951. For full text of proposed VHF-UHF allocations, see pages 54-60. Meanwhile, FCC has “frozen” all new CP grants and application hearings under terms of order issued Sept. 30, 1948. 2. Channel No. 1 has been withdrawn from TV by FCC Order adopted May 5, 1948 (Doc. 8487 — Mimeo No. 21363), effective June 14, 1948. Thus Channel No. 1 allocations to these areas are no longer valid: Bridgeport, Conn.; Canton, 0.; Fall River-New Bedford, Mass.; Manchester, N.
