24 THE. FILM’ ‘RENTER ‘& :MOVING: PICTURE NEWS. graph Theatre (Walthamstow), Ltd., 182, High Street, Walthamstow, E.17. March 16, 1923. SUPERB PRODUCTIONS, LTD. DEAR SIRS, I am sure you will be pleased to hear that the two superb Arcs which you have supplied to my company about a month since are giving absolute satisfaction. The pictures are’ far clearer than previously, and in addition we are saving about 70 per cent. in current. .When taking the readings of the Bioscope metre a few days ago, the man from the electricity station informed me that the metre was not. registering correctly as the consumption was so very small compared ’ with the month‘before, and even went so far as to suggest putting in a new metre. . He reported the matter to one of the Inspec tors, who in turn visited my Cinema and inspected the Arcs, when he was forced to ' the conclusion that they were the means of ' saving a tremendous amount of current. .Another matter I should like to-draw ; attention to is, that my Operators now work . in comfort because the Arcs do not give off ‘ such a terrible amount of heat—more especially in the summer will this wonderful ’ benefit be felt. I have to thank you very much for bring ing these Superb Arcs to my notice and I é am more than pleased with the results. Yours faithfully, : (Signed) CHAS. HOWARD, Managing Director.
