The battle of the noble with the ugly instincts is SO great that it, in order to be worthily translated, demands extra technicalities. I have secured great actors and actresses for each part in this gigantic film, with the excep tion of the réle of GRETCHEN _ T have in my mind an ideal Gretchen, who is surely working on one of the stages in one of the countries in which my films have obtained success. This Gretchen, when I find her, and I will find her, will become celebrated throughout the world through this film, and through her | I will be able to complete the film as I imagine it. I therefore request information with all details from all those who think they could give life to this idea! figure, and after examination I will invite the most likely candidates to come to Berlin or per: | haps I will visit them, in order to find the most suitable one. No actress who feels that she could play this part should fail to get in touch with me. I will know how to clear apparent obstacles out of the way.
