THE AUDITORIUM of the Glebe Theatre, in the fore section, is finished in plaster, with the side walls of cinder blocks covered with damask in tones of white and gold. The Ideal Seating Company provided 750 chairs for the auditorium. The equipment bill for this theatre is said to be $26,000. While the Glebe was built under the exigencies of war, the designers did not forget that air conditioning would be desired and subsequently installed. THE FLOOR PLANS and plot plan reveai how the future was almost more in mind than the present. The first floor plan, at the left, reveals a spaciousness—including that of the stage—which should be more than adequate for years to come, even after the future stores become realities. Note also the placement of the lobby, so that the entering patron is more or less automatically routed down the right aisle and first seating made on that side, Furureé Store Furune Stores WVestieuce | | | | | | | ae ba
