J&&-- No More Coca For Caesar I sure can’t understand how Barbara Planis can rate Sid Caesar as the best comedian on TV. I think that he’s just a “big show-off.” I really enjoy Imogene Coca and I think that she could be a much bigger success if she had her own show. — Nancy Mollman, Kenosha, Wis. (Imogene must agree with you. Her new show debuts in the fall—Ed.) Godfrey’s Persistent Partiality I wish Arthur Godfrey wouldn’t show so much partiality on his shows. His favoring Janette Davis all the time is nauseating. The show would be much more appeal¬ ing if there were more songs by the McGuires and Lu Ann Sims. Also, let’s leave the commercials in the hands of Tony Marvin. He has a real pleasant voice and yet we hear very little from him. — Dorothy Schreiber, Chicago, III. Love That Gale I watch My Little Margie every time she is on and I just love her. She cer¬ tainly can get into some very funny situations. Please tell me where I can write to get some pictures of her. —> Susan Hoffman, Crayslake, III. (Write Margie cio NBC, Sunset and Vine, Hollywood, Calif. — Ed.) Should Mellow With Age I have noticed, on many occasions, the wonderful performances of teen-ager Joey Walsh. I think he is tops. He’s very convincing in the roles that he plays and he should be even more suc¬ cessful when he gets older.— Nancy Jo Melton, Gary, hid. Life Without Elizabeth I’ve searched all over the TV GUIDE listings and I haven’t been able to find Life With Elizabeth. Isn’t it on TV any¬ more? Our family liked it very much and we would enjoy seeing it every week. At least we can still watch Betty White on her daytime show. — Joyce Steg, Chicago, III. (The show is still on but not carried in Chicago. — Ed.) Not Skimpy About Seampy My brother and I watch Super Circus every Sunday. He says that Seampy is about 10 years old and I say that he is at least 12. Would you please tell me who is right? Also where could I get a picture of Seampy? — Marsha Sutherland, Chicago, III. (Sandy “Seampy” Dobritch was born May 10, 1944. You can write to him c/o ABC, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago, III. — Ed.) Hit Parade Competition? The Dotty Mack Show is the best song show on television. I think it should be enlarged to a Super Song Show of one hour with the twelve top hits of the week plus three new recordings. The show would be done in pantomime as usual. — John E. Miller, Peoria, III. No Secrets, Please Where can I write to Bob Atcher? I watch his show every day and I am interested in finding out something about his private life. Do you think he would tell me? — James Hill, Lake Geneva, Wis. (Could be. Write Bob c/o WGN-TV, 441 North Michigan, Chicago, III—Ed.) Mack
