Tonight: "The Mystery of the Beer Steins." A purser collects beer steins from each of the many ports visited by his ship. A gang of interna¬ tional dope smugglers tries to steal the steins. The purser cannot imagine why, but the "Stranger" knows the reason. The purser is played by Dan Morgan. His niece is Dorothy Jolliffe. The identity of the actor who plays the "Stranger" remains a mystery. 8:30 0 OUR MISS BROOKS Connie becomes a June bride at last— but only by proxy. She stands in for the French wife-to-be of Monsieur Le Blanche, French teacher at Madison High. The Mademoiselle is still in France. A couple be¬ lieves that a child should be brought up scientifically until it is old enough to appreciate the love lavished on it by its parents.
