Susie McNamara, one of America’s more unbelievable secretaries—even in the wonderful realm of TV—is go¬ ing to be more so, if she has her way. In short and in the person of Ann Sothern—just an old song-and-dance girl at heart—she proclaims loudly that she wants to become a singing secretary. Says Miss Sothern: “I’ve talked to sponsors and to the advertising agency. I want to do eight shows with music. I think they would have additional entertainment value. We can turn Ann Sothern as 'Maisie' (above), the role that brought her movie fame. She's shown playing the character at a Reno night club this summer. At left, as Susie in Private Secretary.
