TV Teletype NEW YORK Bob Stahl reports: Looks like the baby planned for PAT BENOIT on Mr. Peepers may become another I Love Lucy type of infant. After the pro- ducers had decided to write a baby into the script for PAT and WALLY COX, PAT revealed she is really having a baby in the Spring . . . Another development for WALLY. He is considering an hour-long show each Saturday afternoon starting early next year. The show would be aimed at juvenile viewers as part of NBC's new lineup on Saturdays for the youngsters. * * * It's definite now for the PHIL SILVERS show to start Jan. 25 in RED SKELTON'S Tuesday night spot on CBS. SKELTON's show will replace Danger on that date, with Danger moving up half an hour to replace Life With Father , which is being cancelled . . . SILVERS will be playing a 30-year enlisted man in the army. # * * JOAN WEBER, whose "Let Me Go, Lover" song, introduced recent¬ ly on Studio One , zoomed to the top of recording sales, will be introduced to the public on ED SULLIVAN's Toast of the Town this week. It will mark her first public appearance since her baby was bom . . . Also on the maternity list is JO STAFFORD, whose baby is due next Spring. * # * CBS is producing a series of 26 weekly half-hour programs about the growth of aviation and the U.S. Air Force, to be aired next Fall. Promised full coopera¬ tion of the Air Force, the project appears not unlike NBC's Victory at Sea. * * * "Naughty Marietta," the VICTOR HERBERT operetta that once starred NELSON EDDY and JEANETTE MacDONALD in a movie, will be staged by MAX LIEBMAN as a "spectacular" Jan. 16.
