DANNY THOMAS has bought a magazine story, "Star of the Family" by ARTHUR MYERS, for an upcoming Make Room for Daddy show. * & & JOAN DAVIS, anxious to return to TV since her show folded last year, has found a story property that she hopes to whip into shape for next fall . . . FRANK WIS BAR, original Fireside Theater producer, has finished the first in a new film series, The World of Barbara. & -%& * ‘ To pep up Morning Show, CBS is sending emcee DICK VAN DYKE on quickie weekend trips to foreign cities, such as Paris, Havana and Mexico City. He'll shoot a film there on weekends, return in time to show it on Morning Show on the following Monday. . . ED SULLIVAN moving to Hollywood for his last two shows in February and the first in March. He'll be there for the filming of Warner Brothers!
