In that order, were the most viewed shows of the 195^-55 season, according to American Research Bureau. "Peter Pan" had the largest single audience, with almost 57,000,000 viewers. GLEASON and SULLIVAN each crossed the 50,000,000-mark once during the season. * * * ABC mulling plans to televise top movies Sunday nights opposite SULLIVAN and Variety Hour . They'd be mostly British first-runs for TV, such as "Red Shoes "... A police documentary series. Wanted . on CBS planning boards.
