Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

‘This Is Your Life, Old Chap!’ Ralph Edwards Brings An American Program To Britain Ralph Ekiwards long ago learned that practically anything can happen on This Is Your Life. But he never dreamed what lay ahead when he planned a London telecast to initiate the British version of his show. First the newspapers made a game of discovering the subject (Stanley Matthews, soccer hero), and one told all— just 36 hours before the telecast. A new subject (Eamonn Andrews, TV star) was chosen, and, because telephones are scarce, messengers and detectives were dispatched to ferret out the people in his life. An¬ dre wSt believing boxer Freddie Mills to be Ralph Edwards (who, at left, pretends a London 'litter' box is a letter box) is more at home, right, as he surprises Eamonn Andrews with come¬ dienne Gladys Hay, a long-time Andrews booster.
