The station plans to use the CBS-TV output almost exclusively. The management of the Greater Pittsburgh Airport has put in a call for extra county police to handle the crowds when Liberace makes a two-hour stopover there on Tuesday, November 8, on his way to Cleveland . . , Despite Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s entry into the television field, that studio continues to hold a tight rein on the appearance of its contract players on other commercial shows. For instance, Gene Kelly just wrote friends here that M-G-M said no to his going on Omnibus this winter . . . Although Westinghouse owns KDKA-TV, that company’s dramatic show, Studio One, shifts to rival station WIIC when Channel 11 begins operating because it’s a CBS show, and NBCTV’s Robert Montgomery Presents will replace it on Channel 2.
