After discussion, the following resolution was moved by Mr. Schwartz and seconded by Mr. Emanuel Silverstone: ny LP RESOLVED, that concurrently with the execution and delivery of the agreement above mentioned to be entered into between United Artists Corporation and Sol Lesser, this Company secure from Mr. Lubitsch en option in accordance with the provisions above quoted and thet General Counsel of the Corporation prepare such option in form agreeable to the General Manager. ” The resolution was put to a vote and was carried, the four directors votthe Ss tier being Messrs. O'Brien, Schwartz, Es Silverstone and Caruso. Mr. Roosevelt asked to be recorded Bs "Not Voting". Mr. Roosevelt asked to have spread on the minutes that he was not voting for the same reasons as set forth upon the submission of the resolution for the acceptance of the offer of Mr. Lesser.
