Under a-recent lew which purvorts to be a clerification of.the old law, the Revenue Department is now claiming 54 of 100% of producers" share for this five year period. The encoun’ involved is 89,000 Pesos and the demand is for payment on or before November 30, 1939, The Corporation's local attorney, Dr. Goytie, recommends that the Corporation refuse payment and naan its objections and intentions in writing and force the Tax Department to take the initiative which will automatically throw the matter into the courts. Mr. Kelly suggests that Dr. Goytia's recommendation be followed.
