Ip order to make a deal however, it will be necessary to compete with B.K.O. It was the sense of the meeting that Mr. Sears enter into 7 4 > negotiations with International Pictures, Inc. Mr. Mills stated that Mr. Chaplin requests a one year renewal of his Streamliner contract. The date of the contract is uncertain mt it provides for the delivery of six pictures within one year. Mr. i has not delivered any Streamliners under this contract. Mr. Raftery stated that the contract is dated February 23, 1944, the same date as the Veaguard and Pickford Streamliner contracts. There was considerable discussion concerning the scarcity of raw stock and the fact that Vanguard Films, Inc. an4 The Pickford Corporation intend to make Stremmliners and + would also desire similar one year extensions of their agreements. Mr. Sears produced figures showing that the corporation's sébsirenente from Decesbter Lith to December Slst, 1944 for production and domestic and foreign prints amount to 6,899,625 feet whereas the balance of unused quote on December llth for the last quarter of 1944 is 3,345,843 feet, showing a deficit of 3,553,782 feet.
