Asked if he were in favor of this deal, Mr. Sears stated that it depends upm how many streamliners he is going to get. If he does not get the streamliners, he wants the Ropalorgs, if he gets 1% streamliners,he does not want the Hopalongs. Mr. Agnew moved that on condition that a release be secured from Harry Sherzan clearing United Artists Corporation from any possible claim, Management be authorized to make this deal. Mr. Millis seconded the gotion and it was carried unanimously. 7 7. JOHN GRIERSON Mr. Sears stated that Mr. Grierson is a highly educated, active and able man with degrees fron many universities and with contacts with influential people in various parts of the world. He made the Worl4-In-Action shorts for the Canadian Government which we released. He now proposes to ude three series of shorts, ome called WONDER PACTS covering inveations and discoveries and their effect upon mankind, another subject is called WORLDWISE covering front page news while it is hot, and the third an outdoor series as a supplement to WONDER FACTS or BORLDWISE, the latter covering ‘ umusual sports and wild life. Each series would consist of twelve single reels per year, maxing an aggregate of 36 single reels per year. Terms would de similar to the terms for World-In-Action, which were 354 for tng Cahted States and songer Canada.
