Ein ebenso ausgezeichneter Bühnenspielleiter wie Bühnen und Filmdarsteller, Filmautor, Filmregisseur. Er leitete mehrere Theater, begründete eine eigene Filmgesellschaft, war stellvertretender Direktor des Deutschen Theaters und ist zurzeit an dieser Bühne als Darsteller und Regisseur tätig. Der Ufa-Film „Die selige Exzellenz", in dem er eine humoristische Rolle spielt, ist gemeinsam von ihm und Wilhelm Thiele verfaßt und inszeniert worden. Eine stark dramatische Rolle verkörpert er in dem kommenden Ufa-Film „Die Liebe iler Jeanne Ney".
