Auch beim Tonfilm blieb das Glück ihm treu. Percy Marmont hatte tragende Rollen in „Warning". „The Squeaker" (British Lion), „The LTnwritteu Law" und „Rieh and Strange" (B. I. F. ) mid konnte auch auf diesem neuen Gebiet große Erfolge für sich buchen. Er gehört zu den Schauspielern von starker Persönlichkeit, die die Fähigkeit besitzen, ein Stückchen davon jeder Rolle, die sie spielen, aufzuprägen, sie dadurch dem Zuschauer menschlich nahezubringen und so jedes Stück über seine Bühnenwirksamkeit hinaus zu einem persönlichen Erlebnis zu machen.
